Hello

My name is Tabitha Echavarria. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from The Institute of Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am currently licensed in Washington state and have authority, through the PSYPACT commission, to provide treatment to clients across 40 states .

 

I am specialized in adult psychological services including therapy and  psychological evaluation. I have specialized training in the treatment of psychosis, and the development and implementation of group programing. In practice, I also offer consultation to families and health care providers on an inpatient and outpatient basis. My research focused primarily on "harmful psychological treatments" such as behavior modification programs, wilderness programs, conversion therapy, and the "troubled teen industry." I am extremely passionate about accurate mental health education and de-stigmatizing mental health concerns.
